Important Survey For Developing A Community Based Skills & Employment Service In Kingscourt

Kingscourt Community Development Association is considering development of a community based skills and employability service for people who are unemployed or underemployed in the greater Kingscourt Area. The proposed facility would be located adjacent to the existing community centre and Youthreach facility, off Main St., Kingscourt. The centre would be developed as a social enterprise and could act as a mechanism to re skill local people to meet the labour market needs current and emerging of local and regional employers. It could also act as a springboard for progression to SOLAS apprenticeships or other further education and training.
A key part of this is to undertake an extensive public consultation regarding the development of a new facility. Kingscourt Community Development Association would really appreciate if you could take a few minutes to complete this questionnaire. This will assist in securing funding to proceed with the project. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JYSW9DH
