Emma Curtis launches collection at London Fashion Week

It’s a big weekend for one local girl, Emma Curtis of Cloughrea, Drumconrath who only recently grauated from St.Angela’s College in Sligowill  this weekend launched her Spring Summer 2017 collection in the at the House of Ikons a Lasy K production Millenium Hotel, Mayfair, London as part of London Fashion Week. The event is in aid of The Princes Trust and this September House of iKons will pay tribute music icon Prince. TV channels involved imclude BritRox on Sky TV and ITV London will be airing the show to 400million viewers world wide in over 76 countries. www.houseofikons.com

After her designs were spotted by House of iKons founder and CEO and Ambassador for The Princes’s Trust Savita Kaye, Emma was invited to take part in the event which takes place tomorrow night (Saturday 17th September).

Emma who has also being nominated for the 2016  International Achievers Awards for Best Female Designer was also a Finalist Young Designer of the Year at the 2015 Dublin Fashion Festival,Top 10 Finalist Galway races wearing her own design 2015,Finalist Irish student designer of the year Kerry fashion week 2016 ,Student Finalist Irish fashion Innovation Awards 2016._mg_6377-2

Since September 2013 during London Fashion Week, the Lady K Production team has bought international designers to the forefront. Giving a platform to designers around the world to media, press, buyers, high profiled clients, joining forces with Fashion One TV, giving global coverage to designers to up to 400 million viewers world wide in over 120 countries.

House of iKons in its second year is taking the world of fashion by storm, and now aligning themselves with London Fashion Week bi annually celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Princes Trust. Being appointed as one of The Trusts ambassadors CEO Savita Kaye of House of iKons is not just raising funds through her fashion shows but proactively fund raising with The Trust and most importantly highlighting this royal charity’s work with young people.img_0572
February 2016 more international designers from as far as China and LA as well as up and coming emerging British designers graced the catwalk. The last fashion week show was a huge success; 14 designers under one roof in one day did not just exhibit couture from around the world but sold and further celebrity endorsements.
Designers have been signed to departments stores around the world and working with major celebrities such as JLo, Katy Perry, Lady Ga Ga, Paris Hilton, Brtiney Spears, Tyra Banks to name but a few.
We wish Emma every success and have no doubt that this will be the first of many trips to London Fashion Week.
